General Conditions

All players must be members of the ACBL in good standing at any event past club level. (Non-members allowed at club level only.)

All players must be members of District 7 at the District Finals.

Players determine flight eligibility based upon September 2011 masterpoint cycle (determined August 6, 2011).

All players from any district may play at club level qualifiers but only District 7 players may play in the finals. Teams are formed at the District Final from players who qualified at club level.

Club Level Qualification

Clubs may hold GNT qualifying events from September 1, 2011 through and including April 30, 2012 and they may be stratified combining Open and Flight A, Flight B and Flight C. Players qualify as individuals and may play in as many events as they wish.

District fees are $6.00/team for one session events, or $10.00/team for two session events. Please make check payable to District 7,  and forward with the appropriate Financial  Report and a list of qualifiers to the District 7 GNT coordinator:

Area Semi finals

There are no Semi finals.

DISTRICT FINALS

District 7 will award $2500.00 per team for the winners plus $225 for any fifth or sixth team member provided they played on the team in the District Finals. Augmented members do not qualify for District subsidy.

District Champions who do not have at least 3 original members who played in the District Finals will be replaced by the next eligible team willing to participate.

The Captain of the District Champion is responsible for advising the District Coordinator no later than May 20th, 2012 of players to be replaced and/or of any augmentation. Players may be replaced only with confirmed consent of the replaced player and do not automatically qualify for District subsidy. Any District Champion has the right to augment to up to a 6 person team.

Substitution may be allowed at the discretion of the DIC so long as the substitute does not substantially improve the team for any individual session. The substitute must have qualified at the club level. Only one substitute allowed per team per session and only on 4 person teams.  Any emergency substitution will be determined by the DIC whose decision is final.
